VIRGINIA PEALE
Virginia Peale holds B.A. degrees in dance and anthropology (hurray for
liberal arts!) from Randolph-Macon Woman's College. She studied with
principal dancers from the Martha Graham Dance Company and taught ballet
and modern dance for several years. After more than a decade away from
dance, Virginia tried Pilates to regain flexibility and strength. She
was quickly hooked, particularly when her running pace improved from
trudging to merely slow. Virginia, who is certified through PHI Pilates,
is also a freelance writer and has a day job doing marketing for a local
nonprofit. She enjoys helping fellow desk jockeys fight the good fight
against "gluteal amnesia."
